PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and duece delta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barnett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It Ends Tonight. Buddy Barnett is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buddy Barnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, duece delta!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

delta closes the distance and pushes Barnett back into the cage.
Barnett is pressed up against the cage. delta has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Barnett down to the mat. Barnett avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
delta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barnett's waist but Barnett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing delta off to one side.
Barnett throws a nice looking combination but delta bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Barnett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

delta drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
delta is in close to Barnett's body, working some short punches and elbows.
delta postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

delta drops back looking for a leg! Barnett is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barnett manages to kick delta off! delta jumps back into Barnett's guard.

delta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and delta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Barnett will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

delta tries to free his leg and advance position but Barnett is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
delta loses concentration momentarily and Barnett pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! delta crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Barnett finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
