Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brad Berry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladislav Nestor!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Nestor.
Nestor displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Berry.
Nestor goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Berry feints and then cracks Nestor's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nestor down.
Berry lands a left and a right that send Nestor crashing to the mat, dazed. Berry thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Vladislav Nestor has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nestor bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Berry shoots for a double leg takedown but Nestor sprawls well. He's pushed Berry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Berry is looking to clinch but Nestor is avoiding it.
Berry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nestor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Berry shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nestor's guard.
Berry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Berry is standing up over Nestor. Nestor looks to escape but Berry dives into side control.
Nestor looks gassed!
Who's going to make the next move?
Berry advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Berry wants to control the pace but Nestor is squirming around nicely.
Berry is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nestor is surviving well by controlling Berry's body position as best he can.

Nestor is rocked!
Berry swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
