The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novikov throws a wild body kick that Nechvidov sees coming a mile off.

Nechvidov clinches up with Novikov and pushes him back against the cage.

Novikov gets control of Nechvidov's arms and successfully pulls guard. Novikov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nechvidov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Novikov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nechvidov has managed to get both his arms back between Novikov's legs - danger averted.
Nechvidov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Novikov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nechvidov is aware though and is defending well.

Novikov has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Nechvidov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Novikov has tightened it up now! Nechvidov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
