The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hide is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hide accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Sorsa stuffs the takedown attempt from Hide. Hide gets slowly back to his feet.
Hide shoots in for a takedown but Sorsa shows good takedown defense.
Sorsa catches Hide with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hide changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sorsa tries to avoid it but Hide manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sorsa to the ground. Sorsa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Repe Sorsa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herbie Hide.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Hide is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sorsa is just riding it out for now. Hide eventually gives up the hold.

Sorsa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sorsa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sorsa thuds his right hand into Hide's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
