Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berry fails with the takedown.
Berry shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rock sprawls well. Rock wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Berry gets slowly back to his feet.
Rock misses with a body shot.
Rock connects with a right hand. Berry shakes it off.

Rock clinches up against the cage.

Rock has clasped his hands together around Berry's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Berry takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Rock stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Rock slaps away a takedown attempt from Berry, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Relic Rock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Berry.

Rock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Berry looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rock is working Berry over with some ground and pound from side control.
Rock scores with a couple of short elbows.
Rock takes a little break here. Berry wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Rock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Berry keeps working.
Rock controls the position from side control.

Rock is working to tighten is grip on Berry's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Berry has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rock is really squeezing tight and eventually Berry passes out! Rock breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
