Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartan closes the distance and clinches up with Gray, looking for a takedown. Spartan pushes Gray against the cage but Gray circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gray misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Spartan.
Gray drops Spartan with a beautiful combination! Spartan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gray is looking for the KO!
Spartan is rocked!
It looks like John Spartan has been cut.
Gray throws a series of punches but Spartan avoids them all with ease.
Gray jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gray throws the left hand but Spartan avoids the punch easily.
Spartan throws a body punch but Gray moves out of range.
Gray misses with a hook. Spartan ducked under it nicely.
Gray throws out a loose jab but Spartan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gray throws a jab but it's blocked by Spartan.
Gray throws a jab when Spartan was well out of range.
Spartan defending well as Gray loads up on a big left hand.
Gray jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Spartan misses with a double jab
and Gray connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spartan slips under a jab.
Gray tries to bum rush Spartan with a series of wild strikes but Spartan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gray lands with a big right hook that stumbles Spartan - he's out on his feet here! Gray follows up with another monster hook that separates Spartan from consciousness! Spartan falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Gray stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
