Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack El Capitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taite Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Whistlin' Dixie kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract El Capitan.
El Capitan throws a body punch but Gordon moves out of range.
Gordon looks to land a combination. El Capitan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
El Capitan fails with a takedown attempt.

El Capitan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

El Capitan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gordon sprawls well. Gordon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. El Capitan gets slowly back to his feet.

Gordon cracks El Capitan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Horrible takedown by El Capitan or perhaps it was just good defense by Gordon which made him look bad.

El Capitan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Gordon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. El Capitan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Gordon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping El Capitan at a distance.

El Capitan is rocked!
Gordon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Oh El Capitan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gordon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Taite Gordon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice uppercut there from Gordon.
El Capitan seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Gordon shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! El Capitan is backing up but Gordon catches him with a final right hook that drops him! El Capitan covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Gordon Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taite Gordon!
