The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olof closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dekkers circles away.
Dekkers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Olof moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like R Dekkers has been cut.
Olof looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Olof lands a left and a right that sends Dekkers crashing to the canvas! Olof dives into mount looking to finish!

Dekkers is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Olof unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dekkers wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Olof celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
