PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bohnam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and aiden Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bohnam kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hair of the Dog. Bradshaw is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Young- Hollywood Undead. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradshaw throws a right and a left that both miss.
aiden Bradshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bohnam gets the takedown into side control.
The referee asks Bohnam politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bohnam prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ground and pound from Bohnam seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Bradshaw looks to move to half guard but instead Bohnam has passed into mount! Damn!

Bradshaw is trying to stand up.
Bohnam lands a nice shot to the head.

Bohnam get's back to his feet.
aiden Bradshaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bohnam feints and as Bradshaw raises his hands in defense, Bohnam changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bohnam controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Bradshaw has his foot on Bohnam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bohnam works his way back into a safe position though.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bradshaw is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bohnam defends well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bradshaw tries to keep at a distance but Bohnam has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bradshaw tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bohnam smiles and moves away.

Bohnam closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bohnam escapes and gets back to his feet.

Bohnam is trying to work for a kimura but Bradshaw is defending well.

Bohnam decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Bradshaw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bohnam.
Bradshaw misses with the combination.
Bradshaw is breathing heavily.

Bohnam shoots in and bounces Bradshaw off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bohnam decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Bradshaw tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bradshaw should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bradshaw is pressed against the cage. Bohnam pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Bradshaw! Two more big strikes from Bohnam and Bradshaw crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
