The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cro Cop is fending him off so far but Best persists. Nope, Cro Cop circles away and we're back to standing.
Stan Best seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Best tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cro Cop sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Best somewhat.
Best gets the takedown into side control.
Best looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Cro Cop is avoiding damage well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Best throws an elbow but Cro Cop slips to the side and avoids it well.
Best scoring with punches and elbows.
Best in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Cro Cop gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Cro Cop gets back to full guard.
Cro Cop working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Best.

Best throws and elbow that misses. Cro Cop uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Best's guard. Nice move by Cro Cop!
Cro Cop tries to free his leg and advance position but Best is retaining full guard.
Cro Cop pushes down on Best's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Cro Cop passes to side control.
Cro Cop is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Best is trying to escape and Cro Cop transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Best is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cro Cop! Very nice indeed!
