Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Machida Mochuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry O Leary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Leary comes into a darkened arena with his song building. one day like this kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Machida Mochuda has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mochuda connects with a good right hand that stumbles O Leary. O Leary circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mochuda misses with a jab, cross combination.
O Leary slips a straight right by Mochuda.
Mochuda keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
O Leary checks a leg kick.

O Leary drives through with a takedown into guard.
O Leary is looking to work some ground and pound but Mochuda has wrist control.

Mochuda is looking to stand up but O Leary isn't so interested in that idea.
O Leary throws a strike but Mochuda rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Mochuda will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
O Leary wants to control from the top but Mochuda keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

so O Leary counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

O Leary looking to sit in guard and control but Mochuda gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now O Leary is on top in guard.
O Leary slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
O Leary throws a strike but Mochuda rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

O Leary lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mochuda!

It looks like Machida Mochuda has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Machida Mochuda's cut is getting worse.
A big strike lands for O Leary! That's really hurt Mochuda and he's turned his back - O Leary keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! O Leary Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
