The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagasuka takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nagasuka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Nagasuka shoots in and bounces Laborina Lim off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Laborina Lim might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nagasuka is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Nagasuka slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Laborina Lim is looking to sweep but instead, Nagasuka has passed into half guard.

Laborina Lim wants to improve his position but Nagasuka is controlling well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nagasuka connects with a nice short shot to Laborina Lim's temple.

Nagasuka seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Laborina Lim has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nagasuka is working away from the top position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nagasuka takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Laborina Lim rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nagasuka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Laborina Lim.
Nagasuka looks for a takedown but Laborina Lim sprawls well.
Laborina Lim could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Nagasuka shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Laborina Lim is trying to defend but Nagasuka finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Nagasuka thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Laborina Lim's head.

Nagasuka is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Laborina Lim to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Laborina Lim shrugs it off.
Laborina Lim is looking to improve his position but Nagasuka isn't that keen on the idea.
