Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jace Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Kershaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnett comes to the cage accompanied by It's My Life. Thomas Kershaw has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kershaw takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kershaw throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barnett misses with a head kick.
Kershaw closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Barnett throws a nice looking combination but Kershaw bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Thomas Kershaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kershaw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kershaw misses with a looping right.
Nice jab there from Kershaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A punch combination from Barnett misses.

Barnett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Barnett thows a big elbow that misses.
Barnett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kershaw moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kershaw throws out a powerful jab.
Barnett gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kershaw walks into a stiff left hand from Barnett.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kershaw uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barnett.
Barnett keeps the fight on the outside.
Barnett throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Kershaw cracks Barnett with a right hand to the side of the head.
Kershaw fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barnett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kershaw moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kershaw looks to throw the jab but Barnett is out of range.
Thomas Kershaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Barnett scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Barnett takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kershaw lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barnett at a distance.
Barnett is breathing heavily.
Kershaw throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kershaw lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kershaw.

Kershaw lands a left and a right that send Barnett crashing to the mat, dazed. Kershaw thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Barnett is rocked!
Kershaw circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Barnett to the canvas! Barnett doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kershaw keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
