The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Tamura.
Tamura does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Haye misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tamura.
Haye throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haye throws an overhand right that lands on Tamura's shoulder, as Tamura tries to avoid the shot.
Haye is looking to score with low kicks.

Haye throws a jab but it's blocked by Tamura.
Tamura swats away the attempt to clinch by Haye.
Haye fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Kenji Tamura has been cut.
Haye scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Haye tries to clinch but Tamura is having none of it.
Tamura is looking to chop away at Haye's legs.

Haye thows a left - swing and a miss!

Haye jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tamura blocks a jab.
Haye misses with a head kick.
Haye tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Tamura paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Whack! Tamura lands a heavy head kick that drops Haye. The ref tackles Tamura to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Haye was done.
