Perez tries to bum rush Fetisov with a series of wild strikes but Fetisov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Alvaro Perez has been cut.

Perez throws out a loose jab but Fetisov uses good head movement to avoid it.

Perez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alvaro Perez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Perez throws a hook but Fetisov avoids it easily.
Fetisov stuns Perez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Perez throws a looping overhand right but Fetisov ducks down to avoid it.

Fetisov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Fetisov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Fetisov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The cut above Alvaro Perez's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Perez throws a hook to the side of Fetisov's head but Fetisov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Fetisov lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Perez or not.

Fetisov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fetisov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fetisov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Alvaro Perez's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Fetisov throws a right hand that Perez ducks under and follows up with a left that Perez also avoids with ease.

Fetisov catches Perez with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
