Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Haigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haigh wants to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from McCoy. No joy for Haigh on that attempt.
A combination from McCoy does no damage.

Haigh shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
McCoy pushes Haigh off looking to stand but Haigh dives back in and keeps control.

McCoy has one foot on Haigh's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Haigh misses the shot to the body.
Haigh fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Haigh shoots in looking for a takedown. McCoy tries to sprawl out of it but Haigh keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCoy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and McCoy counters with a left to the body.
McCoy lands a slapping body shot.

McCoy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haigh moves away.
McCoy throws a series of punches but Haigh moves out of range.
McCoy slaps away a takedown attempt from Haigh, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McCoy leaves Haigh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Haigh is breathing heavily.
McCoy lands a slapping body shot.
McCoy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haigh takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Haigh takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McCoy misses with a few strikes there.
Haigh closes the distance but McCoy moves to the side
and McCoy counters with a series of strikes. Haigh will be more careful next time no doubt.

McCoy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McCoy.
McCoy cracks Haigh with an open hand slap.
No joy there for McCoy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Haigh on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
The crowd cheers as McCoy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Haigh doesn't seem phased though.
McCoy fails to land with a series of punches.
Left hook, right uppercut from McCoy.

Haigh is rocked!

It looks like Dan Haigh has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McCoy connects with a superb combination that knocks Haigh out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles McCoy before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Haigh!
