Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Samsonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Lipps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Igor Samsonov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Igor Samsonov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samsonov throws a head kick that misses.
Lipps takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Samsonov lands a head kick. Lipps smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Samsonov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Samsonov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Samsonov slow jab from Lipps misses its intended target.
Lipps takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Samsonov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Lipps is rocked!
Samsonov is looking to chop away at Lipps's legs.
Samsonov throws a head kick that misses.
Samsonov throws a nice looking combination but Lipps bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Samsonov throws a push kick but Lipps slaps the foot to one side.
Samsonov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Samsonov fails with the takedown.

Samsonov misses with a head kick.

Samsonov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Samsonov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lipps is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lipps is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Lipps regains half guard.
Lipps keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Samsonov seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Samsonov is breathing heavily.
Lipps is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Samsonov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lipps on the ground.
Lipps moves into full guard.
Lipps lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Samsonov!
Samsonov stops Lipps from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Lipps is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Lipps!
