Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mason Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Korn - Blind. White has chosen Kanye West - Stronger as his entrance music. Gary White has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Allen!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gary White!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Allen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
White wants to clinch up but Allen keeps it at a distance.
White connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Allen misses with an uppercut.
White tries to close the distance and clinch but Allen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
White fails with an attempt to clinch.
Allen shoots for a takedown but White saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

White gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Allen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Allen prevents White from getting back to his feet.
White utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Allen passes easily into side control. Nice work.
White wants to get back to his feet but Allen drags him back down.

Allen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. White knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Allen is staying tight to White's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Allen advances to full mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Allen looking to control and managing it successfully.
Allen thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Allen wants to take White's back here but White is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
White really wants to buck Allen off and get back to his feet.
Allen throws some wild stikes that White manages to avoid easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen wants to take White's back here but White is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Allen is working hard here to advance position.

Allen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Allen tries to control but White wriggling away.
White is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Allen controlling his opponent.

Allen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Allen tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
White squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Allen unloads with some shots from mount but White bucks and avoids them well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mason Allen dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


White sizes up Allen with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
White tries to land a front kick but Allen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Allen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts White as he jumps to the side.
Allen fails to land the takedown.
White tries to clinch up but Allen circles away and keeps his distance.

White moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
White with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Allen wants to break free but White has control.

Allen tries to break the clinch but White is controlling the position.
White scores with a knee to the head.
Allen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
White trying to land knees to the body.
White landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Allen wants to stall.

Allen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. White defends it easily.
White is looking to stand up but Allen won't let him.

White gets to his feet - Allen follows without any prompting.
White keeps Allen at a distance using the push kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - White looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
White throws a front kick that sends Allen stumbling back into the cage.
Allen takes a swing at White's ribcage but misses.
White lands with a kick to the temple. Allen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
White dodges the punch combination from Allen.
White plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Mason Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Allen keeps the fight on the outside.

Allen shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Allen is trying to control. White wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
White tries to kick Allen off but Allen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Allen is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Allen tries to control but White wriggling away.
Allen looking to ground and pound but White is blocking nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gary White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Allen moves out of range as White throws a body kick.
White tries to clinch but Allen moves out of range.
White throws the kick towards the body but Allen avoids it.
Allen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
White stuffs the takedown attempt from Allen. Allen gets slowly back to his feet.
White looks to land a body kick but Allen moved away.
White cracks Allen with a good jab.

White is looking to slow Allen down with leg kicks.
White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Allen tries to move into range but White moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


Allen is rocked!
White lands a nice looking body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Allen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
White lands a big head kick that sends Allen to the canvas! White follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary White!
