Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Dante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keembo Sluce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Dante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keembo Sluce!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dante gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dante looking for a sweep. Not yet Dante, not yet.
Dante seems keen to control Sluce's posture.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sluce accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sluce slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Dante on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dante tries to get out of the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sluce has a takedown stuffed.
Sluce fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dante throws a jab when Sluce was well out of range.
Sam Dante is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sluce shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dante sprawls well. Dante wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sluce gets slowly back to his feet.
Sam Dante has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keembo Sluce.
Sluce misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Sluce uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dante.

Dante moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Sluce goes down! Can Dante finish him!?

It looks like Keembo Sluce has been cut.
Dante has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dante is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Dante's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sam Dante just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Sluce shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dante as he jumps to the side.
Nice takedown defense from Dante. No joy for Sluce on that attempt.
Nice defenses there by Sluce.
Dante throws a leg kick but Sluce sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dante throws a hook but Sluce blocks it.
Dante misses with an uppercut.
Sluce uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dante.
Sluce tries to clinch but Dante is having none of it.
Dante connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sluce. Sluce circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sluce changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dante tries to avoid it but Sluce manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dante to the ground. Dante escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dante drops Sluce with a big left hand and mounts him. Sluce is in big trouble!

Sluce is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sluce is still in real trouble! Can Dante finish him?

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sluce shoots in looking for a takedown. Dante tries to sprawl out of it but Sluce keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dante manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Dante is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Dante engages and cracks Sluce with a massive lead left hook - Sluce tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Dante is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
