Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maks Turon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Muay Thai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maks Turon!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turon wants to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Thai looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Thai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Turon, pushing him back against the cage.
Turon fails to pull guard.
Thai manages to pull guard.
Thai working for a triangle but Turon defends it easily.
Thai is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Thai pushes Turon off and gets back to his feet.

Nice uppercut there from Thai.
It looks like Maks Turon has been cut.
Thai takes a swing at Turon's ribcage but misses.
Turon tries to clinch up.

and Thai moves into the clinch.
Thai has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Turon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Thai is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Turon pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Thai drops down looking for an ankle pick but Turon pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muay Thai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Turon tries for a takedown but Thai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thai throws a series of punches but Turon avoids them all with ease.
Thai is breathing heavily.
Turon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thai.
Turon misses with a takedown attempt
and Thai counters with a big head kick but Turon shrugs it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thai's guard.
Thai working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turon trying to control the position from guard on top but Thai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thai looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Turon is looking to work some ground and pound but Thai has wrist control.
Thai keeping moving, preventing Turon from controlling successfully.
Thai will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Thai wants to sweep here but Turon controlling him for the moment.

Thai trying to keep a closed guard but Turon is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Thai avoids a kick to the body.
Turon has a takedown stuffed.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Thai tries to clinch there but Turon circles away.
Thai stuffs the takedown attempt from Turon. Turon gets slowly back to his feet.
Turon swats away the attempt to clinch by Thai.
A combination from Turon does no damage.
Turon misses with a takedown attempt - Thai sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thai swivels and escapes.
Turon slips under a jab from Thai.
Turon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Thai is pressed up against the cage. Turon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thai down to the mat. Thai avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Turon moves out of range as Thai throws a body kick.
Turon cracks Thai with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Muay Thai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thai tries to clinch but Turon moves out of range.
Turon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
No luck for Turon with that takedown attempt.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Turon.
Thai closes the distance and clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Muay Thai dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Maks Turon's cut.
That's time! Thai's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Thai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thai fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Thai but Thai pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Horrible takedown by Turon or perhaps it was just good defense by Thai which made him look bad.
Nice takedown defense from Thai. No joy for Turon on that attempt.
Muay Thai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maks Turon.
Thai throws a nice head kick!
Thai sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Turon to the ground! Thai dives into full mount looking to finish!
Turon is rocked!
Thai stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Turon is still on wobbly legs! Can Thai finish him?
Thai gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Thai wants a takedown but no success here.
Thai successfully pulls guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thai pushes Turon off and scrambles back to his feet.

Turon looks up at the clock. Bad move! Thai lands a right hand from hell, dropping Turon. Thai pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
