PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Bolpar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo comes to the cage accompanied by Culo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricky Ricardo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Bolpar!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricardo tries to clinch up but Bolpar circles away and keeps his distance.

Ricardo drops back looking for a leg! Bolpar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bolpar manages to kick Ricardo off! Ricardo jumps back into Bolpar's guard.

Bolpar tries to bum rush Ricardo with a series of wild strikes but Ricardo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bolpar gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ricardo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Ricardo is fighting to break Bolpar's control of his arms but Bolpar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Ricardo is looking to work some ground and pound but Bolpar has wrist control.

Ricardo tries to free his leg and advance position but Bolpar is retaining full guard.
Bolpar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ricardo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bolpar looks to land a combination but Ricardo avoids it well.

Ricardo drives through and clinches with Bolpar against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ricardo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
