Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pete Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William White!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Walker keeps control of White as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

White trying to control but Walker is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker lands some strikes from the bottom.
Walker throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Walker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

White is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Pete Walker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
White lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Walker!

White wants to take Walker's back here but Walker is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
White wants to control the pace but Walker is squirming around nicely.
Walker bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Walker uses his free foot to push down on White's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for White.
Walker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Walker moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, White has worked his arm free - good work by White!
White gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Walker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but White does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Walker's guard.
Walker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. White manages to get himself to full guard.

Walker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!



Walker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
White wants to get back to full guard.
Walker wants to pass the guard but White is defending well.
Walker is trying to control the action in half guard but White is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
White is in trouble now - Walker has advanced to mount!
Walker breaks from White's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Walker stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
William White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker has closed the distance and engaged White in a clinch.
Walker lands with a right to the head.
White jumps guard but Walker stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Walker manages to break the clinch.
Walker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
White misses the shot to the body.

Walker gets the takedown into side control.
Walker lands an elbow.
You can see the frustration on White's face as Walker controls the position.
White tries to bench press Walker off him but Walker keeps the position.

Walker has hold of White's arm. He's looking for a kimura. White seems comfortable defending it but Walker has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! White is real pain and he's forced to tap out! White is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Walker couldn't care less - he's delighted!
