Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jumalaton Hirmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Karpov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karpov has chosen Villieläin - Voittamaton as his entrance music. Ivan Karpov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirmu pushes Karpov away with a front kick.
Hirmu throws a head kick but Karpov moves out of range.
Karpov shoots in but Hirmu avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Karpov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hirmu shoots in for a double leg but Karpov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Karpov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hirmu counters with a head kick. That will keep Karpov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Jumalaton Hirmu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Karpov.
Karpov tries to clinch but Hirmu moves away
and Hirmu counters with a head kick.
Karpov avoids the head kick by Hirmu.
Karpov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hirmu as he jumps to the side.
Karpov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Karpov looks gassed!

Karpov moves into range and clinches up with Hirmu.
Karpov is stalling here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hirmu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Hirmu drags the fight down to the ground.

Hirmu looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karpov trying to control the position from guard on top but Hirmu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Karpov wants to pass the guard but Hirmu is keeping the position.
Hirmu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Karpov throwing strikes from guard but Hirmu blocks nicely.

Karpov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hirmu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Karpov is looking to defend but Hirmu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Karpov! Hirmu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Karpov taps out and this one is all over!
