Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Paranhos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Silva.
Silva in side control, throwing shots but Paranhos defends.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paranhos dodges the ground and pound from Silva.
Paranhos is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Silva keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Silva drops an elbow to the side of Paranhos's head.
Silva throwing shots but Paranhos is blocking nicely.
Paranhos is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.
Paranhos keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Paranhos looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Paranhos landing rabbit punches to the side of Silva's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.
Silva misses with a head shot. Paranhos uses the momentum to regain guard.
Silva stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Paranhos has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Silva manages to get his head free but now Paranhos has transitioned to an armbar! Silva grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Paranhos! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
