Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Drew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owens has chosen The Word Best Friend Becomes Redefined as his entrance music. Tyson Drew could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Craig Owens's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Drew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Owens!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Drew.
Drew fails to land with a series of punches.
Drew throws a hook but Owens blocks it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Owens.
Owens staying out of range there.
Drew swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Owens is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Drew misses with a double jab.
Drew misses with the combination.
Owens bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Owens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drew but Drew pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Owens slips a jab and a cross from Drew.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owens throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drew's waist but Drew gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Owens off to one side.
Tyson Drew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Craig Owens.
Drew throws a series of punches but Owens moves out of range.
Owens shoots in and drives through. Drew sprawls well.
Owens fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Drew connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Nice defenses there by Owens.

Drew looks to land a right hand but Owens moved out of range.

Owens shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Drew manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Drew holds on and takes a little breather.
Owens wants to control from the top but Drew keeps moving.
Owens might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Drew kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Drew trying to keep a closed guard but Owens is proving a slippery customer.
Drew avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Drew not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Owens tries to free his leg and advance position but Drew is retaining full guard.
Owens trying to control the position from guard on top but Drew is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Owens looks gassed!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A combination from Drew does no damage.
A swing and a miss from Drew.

A jab from Drew misses.
Owens has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Drew finds it's way round the side to connect with Owens's head.

It looks like Craig Owens has been cut.
Owens showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Drew.
Drew keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A combination from Drew does no damage.
No joy there for Drew, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Drew throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Drew drops Owens with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Owens! Drew dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
