Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaden Cyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vaden Cyde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Owens!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyde misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cyde closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cyde lands in his opponent's guard.
Owens is looking for a triangle but Cyde pushes his legs off easily.
Cyde pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Owens is keeping the position for now.
Owens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cyde doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cyde manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Owens is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cyde tries to free his leg and advance position but Owens is retaining full guard.
Cyde pushes down on Owens's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Owens gets back to full guard.
Cyde knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Owens on the ground.
Owens looking for a guillotine here but Cyde defends easily.
Cyde distracts Owens with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Cyde stands and throws Owens's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cyde is trying to get an arm triangle but Owens is defending well.
Cyde moves into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cyde goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Owens turns into him and now he's in Cyde's guard.
Owens connects with a couple of short punches.
Owens wants to control from the top but Cyde keeps moving.
Owens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cyde swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cyde keeping moving, preventing Owens from controlling successfully.
Cyde wants to stand and escape but Owens is having none of it.
Cyde trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Cyde is breathing heavily.
Owens drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cyde manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Owens has Cyde in his guard.
Cyde has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Owens preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Owens keeping full guard, as Cyde tries to pass.
Owens looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Owens had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cyde defends it easily.
Cyde wants to pass the guard but Owens is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Owens dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Owens throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cyde counters with a low kick, right behind Owens 's knee.
Owens closes the distance looking to clinch
and Cyde counters with a takedown into side control.
Owens gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Cyde is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Owens manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Owens is breathing heavily.
Cyde throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Cyde wants to free his trapped foot but Owens is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Owens regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Cyde.
Cyde works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Owens is looking to improve his position.
Cyde thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cyde passes to side control.
Cyde is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cyde is trying to get an arm triangle but Owens is defending well.
Owens manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Cyde not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Owens moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Owens manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Owens is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cyde is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cyde flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Owens anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cyde and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Owens slips an arm under Cyde chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Owens has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Owens is squeezing on Cyde like an anaconda would it's prey. Cyde fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
