Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, SunOf Kirosawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bam Bam!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kirosawa gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kirosawa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bam wants to control from the top but Kirosawa keeps moving.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bam connects with a nice short shot to Kirosawa's temple.
Bam takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Kirosawa has hold of Bam's hands but Bam slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bam works his foot free and advances to mount.

It looks like SunOf Kirosawa has been cut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bam closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kirosawa takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Bam thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bam. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Bam has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kirosawa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bam is trying for a kimura here. Kirosawa looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bam wins by kimura!
