The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Severn rushes Cherry and presses him up against the cage.

Cherry is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Severn pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Severn seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Cherry wants to control from the top but Severn keeps moving.
