Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Kashmere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Quagmire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quagmire is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Die MotherFucker Die. Glen Quagmire acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joey Kashmere!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glen Quagmire!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quagmire swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kashmere shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Quagmire manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kashmere prevents Quagmire from getting back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quagmire can do anything to dispel that myth.
Quagmire wants to get back to his feet but Kashmere passes into half guard.
Kashmere works his foot free and advances to mount.
Quagmire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kashmere. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Quagmire defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kashmere.

Kashmere takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Quagmire has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kashmere is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quagmire gets to his feet. Kashmere looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kashmere shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Quagmire is trying to defend but Kashmere finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Quagmire throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Quagmire uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kashmere.

Kashmere thuds a left hand into Quagmire's body.
Kashmere closes the distance and clinches up with Quagmire, looking for a takedown. Kashmere pushes Quagmire against the cage but Quagmire circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Quagmire displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kashmere.

Kashmere fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Quagmire avoids it really well and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Quagmire moves away from the strike by Kashmere.
Kashmere lands a jab to Quagmire's midsection.

Quagmire lands a left and a right that send Kashmere crashing to the mat, dazed. Quagmire thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Joey Kashmere has been cut.
Quagmire moves out of range of the strikes.
Kashmere misses with a straight right.
Kashmere throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glen Quagmire showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Kashmere is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Quagmire wants to stand and escape but instead Kashmere has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Kashmere throwing strikes but missing.
Kashmere tries to free his leg and advance position but Quagmire is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kashmere throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Quagmire's waist but Quagmire gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kashmere off to one side.
Kashmere looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Kashmere. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kashmere lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A punch combination from Quagmire misses.
Kashmere shoots in looking for a takedown. Quagmire tries to sprawl out of it but Kashmere keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quagmire manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kashmere is defended easily by Quagmire.

And that's the end of the fight!
Joey Kashmere showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kashmere has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
