The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cunningham clinches.

Slice throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cunningham was covering up waiting for the punch and Slice finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Slice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cunningham swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cunningham darts in and clinches Slice up against the cage.
Cunningham lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Jimbo Slice has been cut.
Cunningham using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Slice has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Slice wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cunningham has him pressed against the cage.
Slice jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cunningham walks away with a smile on his face. Slice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Slice is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Slice is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cunningham.
A jab from Cunningham finds it's way through Slice's defenses.

Slice scores with a takedown into Cunningham's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cunningham wants to stand up but Slice is controlling him.
Slice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cunningham swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cunningham manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Cunningham gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cunningham throws a series of punches but Slice moves out of range.
Slice swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cunningham circles away from the clinch attempt

and Cunningham counters with a crisp one two that drops Slice! Cunningham thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Slice to his feet! Slice is in big trouble!

Cunningham bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Slice is rocked!

Cunningham thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cunningham advances to full mount.
Cunningham in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
BOOM! Cunningham connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Cunningham looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Slice covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
