The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Situ shoots in for a double leg but Gismonti sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Situ shoots in looking for a takedown. Gismonti tries to sprawl out of it but Situ keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gismonti manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Situ shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gismonti sprawls well. Gismonti wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Situ gets slowly back to his feet.
Egberto Gismonti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sikau Situ.
Look low, kick high! Gismonti uses the oldest trick in the book to send Situ tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Gismonti is absolutely delighted - when Situ wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
