Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Wilson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson throws a nice outside leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Toney checks a leg kick.

It looks like Frank Toney has been cut.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Toney. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Wilson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wilson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Toney is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Toney feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Toney changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
