The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Turbano does no damage.
Turbano throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nguyen.
Turbano lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nguyen fails with a takedown attempt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Turbano. That's going to slow Nguyen down.
Nguyen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Turbano is fending him off so far but Nguyen persists. Nope, Turbano circles away and we're back to standing.
Nguyen shoots in looking for a takedown. Turbano tries to sprawl out of it but Nguyen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Turbano manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
