He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Chris Jericho has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jericho is defended easily by Jones.

Jericho shoots in for a double leg but Jones sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jericho fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jericho shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones thuds his right hand into Jericho's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Jericho forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Jericho prevents Jones from breaking the clinch.
Jericho lands an elbow inside.

Jericho moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.

Jericho rolls with it to try and escape but Jones cranks on the arm and Jericho is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
