Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Austin Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ready Go (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Austin Powers!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ready Go!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers tries to clinch but Go moves out of range.
Powers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Go swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Powers tries to clinch up but Go circles away and keeps his distance.

Go shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Powers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Powers working for a triangle but Go defends it easily.
Go with a flurry of punches that miss.
Go is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Go trying to control but Powers is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Go throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Powers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Go fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Powers sprawls well initially but Go persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Go lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Powers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Powers.
Powers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Go shoots for a double leg takedown but Powers sprawls well. He's pushed Go's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Powers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Go doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Go manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Go working over Powers with some ground and pound. Powers looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Powers has instead reached around Go's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Powers arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
