The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Star fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lainen on the side of the head.
Lainen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A chopping leg kick lands by Star.
Lainen throws a leg kick
and Star cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lainen misses with a low kick.
Lainen takes one to the chin there.
Star lands a jab to Lainen's midsection.
Lainen looks gassed!
Star rushes Lainen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Star breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Star misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lainen darts in trying to clinch
and Star counters with a slapping leg kick.
Star throws and low kick but Lainen moves out of range easily.
Star misses with a straight right.
Lainen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Star scores with a punch to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Star with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Star moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Lainen goes down! Can Star finish him!?
Lainen is rocked!
Lainen wants to sweep but no luck.

Lainen looking for a guillotine here but Star defends easily.
Star wants to pass the guard but Lainen is keeping the position.
Lainen seems to have recovered his senses.
