Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Dettmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dettmann comes to the cage accompanied by Marcel Dettmann - Kernel. Brown has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Bart Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dettmann just misses with a punch to the body.
Dettmann misses with a body shot.
Dettmann ducks under a wild hook from Brown.
Dettmann is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.
Brown misses with a straight right.
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.
Nice shot lands for Brown.
Brown misses with a double jab.
Dettmann tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Brown throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Dettmann wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brown is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dettmann off and has taken his back!
Brown controlling the position well here. Dettmann rolled but Brown kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Dettmann really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Brown's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

Brown is not going to allow Dettmann to sit and survive in this position.
Brown is trying to stick to Dettmann's back but Dettmann is turning into Brown. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Brown's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dettmann.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dettmann drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!
Dettmann tries to improve position but can't.
Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dettmann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dettmann is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Brown is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dettmann tries to hold on but Brown pushes him away.
Dettmann regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcel Dettmann will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Dettmann has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dettmann throws an overhand right that lands on Brown's shoulder, as Brown tries to avoid the shot.
Dettmann fails with a takedown attempt.
Brown gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dettmann walks into a left hand.
Brown scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Brown fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dettmann on the side of the head.
Brown throws a head kick but Dettmann moves out of range.
Dettmann cracks Brown with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Brown throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dettmann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dettmann gets slowly back to his feet.

and Dettmann counters with a lovely shot to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dettmann looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Brown thuds a left hand into Dettmann's body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dettmann avoids the head kick by Brown.
Good standup being displayed there by Brown as he connects with a hook.
Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcel Dettmann. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brown throws a lazy right hand but Dettmann sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Brown throws a shot to the body.
Brown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Brown stuffs the takedown.
Brown throws a right and a left that Dettmann avoids nicely.
Dettmann misses the shot to the body.

Brown stalks Dettmann and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dettmann's face. Dettmann staggers backwards, shaken.
Dettmann wants to clinch.
Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dettmann was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown.
Brown connects with the punch.
Brown displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dettmann.
Dettmann takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Dettmann is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown lands with a nice combination. Dettmann backs away looking to recover.
Oh Dettmann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Brown lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Dettmann falls backwards - clearly groggy! Brown dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
