Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy shoots in for a takedown but Pawter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McCarthy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pawter circles away.
Pawter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
McCarthy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McCarthy showed some decent athleticism there.
Pawter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pawter is refusing to be controlled, as McCarthy sits in half guard.
McCarthy is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Pawter pulls McCarthy in close to his closed guard and prevents McCarthy from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pawter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McCarthy's guard.

McCarthy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pawter should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McCarthy has tightened it up now! Pawter should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
