Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Seeland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leroy Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Seeland checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Seeland shoots for a takedown but Jenkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jenkins is looking to clinch but Seeland is avoiding it.
Seeland shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jenkins as he avoids it easily.
Jenkins tries to land a leg kick but Seeland saw it coming and moves away.
Leroy Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seeland looks for a takedown but Jenkins sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeremy Seeland. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jenkins lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jenkins throws a right hand that Seeland ducks under and follows up with a left that Seeland also avoids with ease.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jenkins lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Seeland has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Seeland and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Seeland closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jenkins circles away.
Jenkins throws a series of punches but Seeland moves out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jenkins.
Seeland is breathing heavily.
Jenkins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Seeland keeps working.

Jenkins tries to move into full mount but can't pass Seeland's legs.

Jenkins goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Seeland rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jenkins's guard! Nice work there by Seeland!
Seeland stands and throws Jenkins's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jenkins is looking for a sweep.
Jenkins manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jenkins wants to take a breather but Seeland is having none of it.
Jenkins passes to side control.
Seeland is trying to control Jenkins's posture but Jenkins avoids it.

Jenkins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jenkins decides to stand back up.

Jenkins misses with a low kick.
Seeland dodges the punch combination from Jenkins.
Seeland avoids the head kick by Jenkins.
Jenkins connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jenkins throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jenkins throws a head kick but Seeland moves out of range.
Jenkins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Seeland doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Jenkins counters by moving into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jenkins lands a knee to the body.
Jenkins lands an elbow that stopped Seeland in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Jeremy Seeland has been cut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Knees in the clinch landing for Jenkins.

Jenkins manages to break the clinch.
A jab from Jenkins finds it's way through Seeland's defenses.
Jenkins dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Seeland. That did some damage!
Seeland avoids the body shot from Jenkins.

and Jenkins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Seeland won't be happy with that.

Jenkins stands up and beckons Seeland to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenkins lands a slapping body shot.
Seeland has his takedown stuffed
and Jenkins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jenkins wants to clinch.
Seeland fails with the takedown
and Jenkins counters with a straight right hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Seeland bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jenkins is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Seeland has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jenkins is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Seeland yanks on the arm and Jenkins is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Seeland.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jeremy Seeland!
