The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
santana throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
babalu santana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
santana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nogueira closes the distance and clinches up with santana, looking for a takedown. Nogueira pushes santana against the cage but santana circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nogueira shoots in but santana avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nogueira looks to land a left hand but santana moved out of range nicely.
Nogueira is on the wrong end of a nice combination from santana.
santana defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nogueira.
babalu santana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Nogueira.

santana decides to stand back up. santana steps back and let's Nogueira get back to his feet.
santana flashes Nogueira a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Nogueira's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Nogueira crumples to the floor! He's out cold! santana punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
