PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry has chosen england belongs to me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Terry!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terry misses with a series of wild punches.

Irvin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Irvin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Irvin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Terry paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Terry lands a left and a right that send Irvin crashing to the mat, dazed. Terry thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Steve Irvin has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
