The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mafusa wants to clinch.
Mafusa tries to clinch but Brodie is having none of it.

so Brodie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Brodie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mafusa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brodie has Mafusa in his guard.

Mafusa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brodie.
