And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Greg Hannay!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hannay misses with a series of wild punches.
Hannay should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Scott throws a combination that misses
enabling Hannay to counter with a crisp jab.
Scott throws a right hand that Hannay ducks under and follows up with a left that Hannay also avoids with ease.
Hannay fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Scott misses with a double jab

and Hannay counters with a takedown into side control.
Hannay throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Hannay working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Hannay decides to stand back up.
Kent Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scott takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Scott throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scott throws a right and a left that Hannay avoids nicely.
Scott cracks Hannay with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Scott staying out of range there.

A combination from Scott does no damage.
Scott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hannay circles away quickly and effectively.
Scott lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Scott.
Hannay shoots in and drives through. Scott sprawls well.
Hannay looks gassed!
Scott throws a series of punches but Hannay moves out of range.
No luck for Hannay with that takedown attempt.
Kent Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Hannay.
Scott works over Hannay's head and body with a nice combination.

Scott lands a left and a right that send Hannay crashing to the mat, dazed. Scott thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Scott lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Hannay falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
