PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between jason jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gucio Gucik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gucik has chosen Dawaj na ring !!!! as his entrance music. jensen has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, jason jensen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gucio Gucik!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gucik has a takedown stuffed.
Gucik thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on jensen if he has to take too many more of those.
jensen is breathing heavily.
Gucik looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gucik throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Gucik changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. jensen tries to avoid it but Gucik manages to keep hold of a leg and drag jensen to the ground. jensen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
jason jensen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gucio Gucik.
jensen takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like jason jensen has been cut.
Gucik fails with the takedown.
Gucik misses with a few strikes there.
jensen ducks under a wild hook from Gucik.
Gucik fails to land the takedown.
jensen moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
jensen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gucik paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gucik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gucik shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gucik showed some decent athleticism there.
jensen is trying to stand back up but Gucik is controlling him
jensen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gucik scores with a couple of nice shots.
jensen pushes Gucik off looking to stand but Gucik dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are battling for position here. jensen manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gucik slips nicely into half guard.
jensen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
jensen is looking to improve his position.

Gucik maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! jensen could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gucik has cracked it and jensen is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gucik!
