Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greg Liller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Greg Liller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cain Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos checks a leg kick.
Liller tries to land a leg kick but Dos Santos saw it coming and moves away.
Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liller as he jumps to the side.
Liller tries a head kick but it misses.
Liller tries to bum rush Dos Santos with a series of wild strikes but Dos Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Liller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Dos Santos drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dos Santos is looking to take a break and control but Liller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dos Santos creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Liller sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Dos Santos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dos Santos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dos Santos is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Liller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dos Santos is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Liller has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dos Santos throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dos Santos misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Dos Santos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Liller is not content to let Dos Santos control the position.

Horrible takedown by Dos Santos or perhaps it was just good defense by Liller which made him look bad.

Dos Santos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dos Santos is trying to control the action in half guard but Liller is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Dos Santos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Liller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dos Santos.

Dos Santos postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Liller pushes Dos Santos away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dos Santos gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dos Santos shoots in and bounces Liller off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Liller has momentary wrist control but Dos Santos slips an elbow through the middle.

Dos Santos drops back looking for a leg! Liller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Liller manages to kick Dos Santos off! Dos Santos jumps back into Liller's guard.

Dos Santos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Liller's guard.

Dos Santos misses with a head shot. Liller uses the momentum to regain guard.

Dos Santos drops back looking for a leg! Liller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Liller manages to kick Dos Santos off! Dos Santos jumps back into Liller's guard.

Liller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dos Santos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dos Santos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Cain Dos Santos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Dos Santos winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
