Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don The Fist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Fist lands a big head kick that sends Stevens tumbling to the mat! The Fist takes a step backwards and waves Stevens back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Eddie Stevens has been cut.
The Fist throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stevens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Stevens drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stevens wants to get up but he can't break The Fist's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The Fist pulls Stevens in close to prevent any damage.

Stevens wants to stand but The Fist has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The Fist pulls Stevens in close to his closed guard and prevents Stevens from doing any damage or advancing position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stevens trying to control the position from guard on top but The Fist is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The Fist has control of Stevens's left arm, preventing Stevens from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stevens pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Fist is keeping the position for now.
The Fist tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The Fist is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The Fist will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Stevens up against the cage.
Stevens controlling the action here for a moment.
The Fist throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stevens blocks it with crossed arms.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The Fist using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stevens has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The Fist blocks a body shot from Stevens.
The Fist throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stevens blocks it with crossed arms.
The Fist looking to throw knees to the head but Stevens is blocking nicely.

The Fist breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stevens forces The Fist back against the cage and clinches.
Stevens slows down the pace here.
The Fist throws a knee to the head but misses.
Stevens misses with a short punch on the inside.
The Fist lands an elbow inside that Stevens shrugs off.
The Fist missing with knees to the body.

The Fist's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stevens swats away the attempt to clinch by The Fist.
Stevens looks for a takedown but The Fist sprawls well.
A thudding body kick lands there by The Fist!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Don The Fist dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Eddie Stevens's cut.
That's time! The Fist's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


The Fist tries to clinch but Stevens moves away

and Stevens counters by moving into the clinch.
Stevens drops to a knee looking for a takedown but The Fist gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Stevens can't get the takedown.

The Fist breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stevens keeps the fight on the outside.

Stevens tries to keep at a distance but The Fist has taken the fight into the clinch.
The Fist tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Stevens is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Stevens wants to get back to striking at distance but The Fist won't allow it.

The Fist breaks the clinch.
The Fist wants to clinch up but Stevens keeps it at a distance.
Stevens misses with a head kick.

The Fist moves into the clinch successfully.
The Fist keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stevens's efforts to push away.

The Fist breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stevens is breathing heavily.
Stevens takes a kick to the side of the head.


That has opened up Eddie Stevens's cut even more.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stevens changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

The Fist drives through with a powerful takedown. That's hurt Stevens!


Stevens is rocked!
The Fist postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Stevens is still in real trouble! Can The Fist finish him?
The Fist arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Stevens's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Don The Fist!
