Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nino Elvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ze mago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nino Elvis looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elvis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts mago as he jumps to the side.

Elvis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming mago to the mat! mago manages to get full guard.
Elvis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Elvis tries to free his leg and advance position but mago is retaining full guard.

Elvis has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of mago is proving hard to escape from.

mago can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Elvis controls the pace.

mago closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Elvis manages to get to full guard.
mago controls from within his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Nino Elvis will probably get the nod.

Elvis misses with a takedown

and mago counters with a shoot takedown. Elvis fights it but they end up in guard.
Elvis is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and mago dives into side control.
mago is staying tight to Elvis's torso, preventing him from escaping.
ze mago has got the better of the ground game so far.
Elvis can't do much from the bottom here.
Elvis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Elvis tries to get out of the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

mago wants to control but Elvis is keeping him busy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Elvis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but mago wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
mago is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Elvis will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
mago's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Elvis wants to control but mago postures up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

ze mago comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well mago has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
