Pain comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Decisive Battle kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Max Factor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Starship Pain's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Factor swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pain blocks a head kick by Factor.
Factor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pain as he avoids it easily.
Pain misses with a two punch combination.
Pain swings for the body but Factor moves out of range.
Factor stuns Pain with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Factor swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Factor tries to clinch but Pain is having none of it.
Pain sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Pain stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Max Factor has been cut.
Factor throws a nice inside leg kick.
Factor takes one to the chin there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pain keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

A jab from Factor does it's job there.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Factor is defended easily by Pain.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pain shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pain showed some decent athleticism there.

Factor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pain.

Factor misses with a hook to the body
and Factor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Factor ducks under a wild hook from Pain.
A jab from Pain misses.
Factor throws a lazy right hand but Pain sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Factor throws an overhand right that lands on Pain's shoulder, as Pain tries to avoid the shot.
Pain scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Max Factor's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pain changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Factor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pain wants to control but Factor is keeping him busy.
Pain misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Factor wants to control but Pain postures up.
Factor is not content to let Pain control the position.

Jeez, Max Factor's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
