Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Terry Tuten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Locus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuten comes to the cage accompanied by Whoa. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tuten bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Locus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tuten. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Locus is looking for a sweep.
Tuten has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tuten lands a big shot there that rocks Locus but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tuten takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Tuten is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Locus to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Locus shrugs it off.

Tuten is working to tighten is grip on Locus's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Locus has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tuten is really squeezing tight and eventually Locus passes out! Tuten breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
