Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Orlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yuri Orlov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Augusto Ricardo!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orlov slips under a jab from Ricardo.
Ricardo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Orlov.
Orlov connects with a single shot there.
Orlov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ricardo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Orlov somewhat.

Ricardo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ricardo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Orlov is looking for a triangle but Ricardo pushes his legs off easily.

Ricardo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ricardo looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Let's hope that Ricardo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ricardo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Orlov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ricardo has managed to get both his arms back between Orlov's legs - danger averted.

Orlov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ricardo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ricardo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ricardo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Orlov throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ricardo escapes and throws Orlov's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Ricardo lands some shots froms side control.
Ricardo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Orlov some visible discomfort.
Ricardo lands a nice forearm strike.
Ricardo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orlov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Orlov is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ricardo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Ricardo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Orlov is rocked!
Orlov is breathing heavily.
Ricardo is taking a breather. Orlov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ricardo winds up and cracks Orlov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Oh Orlov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ricardo is nestled in close to Orlov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Orlov has hold of Ricardo's hands but Ricardo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Orlov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ricardo lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Orlov! More strikes land and this one is all over! Ricardo jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
